Description
Habit : A small herb with a bulb.
Leaves : Radical, linear, grass-like.

Solitary on a scape, whitespathecoloured, bifid.
Perianth segments 6, obovate, veiny.
Stamens 6, adnate on the perianth, anthers versatile.
Ovary inferior, 3-celled, ovules many, style long, stigma 5-fid.
Fruit : Diplotegia small.
Flowering and Fruiting Time : August - October
Significance : Cultivated in the gardens.

Leaves are long slim with a deep glossy green, white flower
